January 30, 2005

Everything is going well at home. Reid and Virginia continue to grow as expected and Reid hit 7 lbs. while Virginia is probably over 8 lbs now. Mom and Dad are tired but loving every minute with the kids. We're really trying to enjoy them while they are little even though the minimal sleep at night makes it difficult at times. We feel very blessed to have our little ones at home and look forward to nurturing them and growing with them. We would like to say a special thanks to everyone who has been up here to help out with the children. It means a lot and having an extra set of hands here is priceless.

Happy New Year!

Both Reid and Virginia are home and were all learning a lot about each other. I've learned that they like to stay up at night and play and sleep during the day (? go figure). Reid seems a little more calm than sis for now but that can certainly change as they get bigger. Virginia doesn't seem to be suffering any long term lung issues as she can yell and cry about as loud as she wants. And Mommy doesn't mind missed sleep as much as I thought she would. She is doing very well with the 3AM shift most nights.

All in all, we're just glad that we're getting to know our babies (at home) and that we're all getting even closer to each other. Everyone (at least the parents) are tired, but we are very happy and love spending time with the children even when they could probably be sleeping.

Thanks again to everyone who has been there for us in spirit, prayer, and in person over the last 3+ months. We know how blessed we are and we look forward to growing our babies in the faith that has been shown to us.

Love, Chris and Sally
